Most of us have said at some point:
“I don’t have time.”
“There’s not enough time.”
“If only we had more time.”
We repeat these phrases so often that we rarely question them.
But the language we use around time shapes how we experience it.
When we constantly tell ourselves there isn’t enough, we subtly reinforce scarcity and give ourselves permission to delay, postpone, or avoid.
PAUSE.

Here’s the truth: time is a construct.
We perceive it as linear, structured, and limited — but we don’t own it, and we can’t create more of it.
Every single one of us operates within the same 24 hours each day.
The difference is not in the amount of time available, but in how intentionally we use it.
When I truly understood this, something shifted.
I realized that 24 hours is more than enough to make meaningful progress — if I remove procrastination, distractions, and excuses.
Eliminate procrastination, and you don’t just “save time” — you reclaim focus. And focus multiplies output.
PAUSE.
Reminder that a single visit on all my sponsor’s pages helps support my work and keeps this newsletter alive.

There’s an idea I once came across that stayed with me: if you wake up a little earlier than usual and go to bed slightly later — and use that time deliberately to learn — imagine how much faster you would grow. A few extra focused hours per day compound dramatically over weeks and months.
I applied this to photography. I began waking up at 6 a.m., dedicating uninterrupted time to study, practice, and execution. I extended my evenings slightly, not to scroll or consume, but to refine my craft. Within months, my skills improved noticeably. Not because I suddenly had “more time,” but because I treated time as a resource to be directed, not complained about.
Another shift was learning to work in focused blocks. For example:
· Two hours to study a specific skill.
· Two hours for meaningful networking.
· Three hours for deep work on a project.
· A proper break to reset.
· One hour for physical training.
· Additional focused learning in the evening.
When you give each block a purpose and protect it, your relationship with time sharpens. You stop reacting to the day and start designing it.
Time does not expand for us. But discipline expands what we can accomplish within it.
So take the time to reflect on this.
With love,
Chanel.
